Nero Marquina takes its name from the town of Marquina, near Bilbao, where it is traditionally extracted. It is not difficult to imagine the reasons for the success of this type of marble: it is, in fact, a deep black stone with a fine grain dotted with white fossil remains and crossed by more evident white/green veins, whose brilliance and depth of black and the contrasts with white create a captivating and sure-grip look.

Nero Marquinia, a variety of marble of Spanish origin, is one of the most appreciated natural stones in the world. As the name itself suggests, Nero Marquinia is a very fine-grained black marble, speckled with small white fossil residues and crossed by more evident white veins that sometimes veer towards a pale green.
