Key Details
Designed to move between the living room and the dining area, this bar cart combines a spacious top surface with a second lower shelf, useful for organizing bottles, glasses, and everything needed for serving. Its wheels maintain its original function and allow it to be moved easily as needed.
Teak characterizes the entire structure, from the rectangular top to the slightly slanted uprights. The lower shelf is nestled between two side rails, a practical solution that also creates a pleasant contrast between the horizontal surfaces and the thinner structure of the legs.
It is a piece of furniture tied to the domestic culture of 1960s Scandinavian design, when carts and small service pieces became an integral part of the living area. Today, it can continue to be used as a bar cart, but it works just as well as a side table, a stand for books and objects, or a small storage unit.
A versatile vintage piece, in which the warm tone of the teak and the mobile structure well preserve the practical character of mid-century design.
