Key Details
Compact in size but well-organized, this 1960s Danish chest of drawers is an example of domestic design that places function at the heart of the project. The three drawers offer easily accessible storage space, while its compact volume allows it to fit even where larger furniture cannot be used.
Teak defines the chest of drawers' appearance through its warm tones and natural grain. The wood surface complements the composition of the three drawer fronts, creating visual continuity and enhancing the simplicity of the structure.
The drawers can be used for linen, documents, or small everyday items, making the piece suitable for the bedroom, entryway, or study. The top surface also offers a useful space for a lamp, a mirror, or small decorative items.
Its restrained proportions and essential design allow the chest of drawers to easily blend with furniture from different eras and origins. A small piece of Danish modern design that retains the practicality of the original design and the quality of teak typical of 1960s Scandinavian production.
