Key Details
The Tall Boy from the G-Plan “Fresco” series is one of the most recognizable pieces of furniture in 1960s British production, designed by Victor B. Wilkins. The vertical structure features six drawers in a compact composition, designed to offer ample storage capacity while occupying a relatively small footprint.
The drawers are characterized by the series' typical sculpted handles and the continuous grain pattern of the teak. Its compact width and depth allow it to be used in the bedroom, as well as a storage unit in other areas of the home.
The Fresco series, introduced in the 1960s, reflects the influence of Scandinavian design on G-Plan's British production. The teak and the craftsmanship details give the piece a well-defined character, while its vertical profile maintains an orderly and functional presence.
