The Semi was created in 1968 through the collaboration of Danish designers Claus Bonderup and Torsten Thorup for Fog & Mørup. Its shape, obtained by joining two quarter-circles, creates a simple and immediately recognizable profile that became one of the most representative lighting designs of late 1960s Denmark.
Made of metal, this version in a green finish adds a bold chromatic component to the lamp's essential geometry. The shade directs light downward, making the Semi particularly suitable for hanging over a dining table, desk, or workspace.
