Key Details
The Model 110 armchair, designed by Illum Wikkelsø for Søren Willadsen in the 1950s, is one of the most refined expressions of post-war Danish design. Wikkelsø, a cultivated and independent figure in Scandinavian modernism, is known for his ability to combine comfort, architectural proportions, and an almost sculptural sensitivity to forms. This model is distinguished by its enveloping lines and the perfect balance between structure and upholstery, designed for everyday use but with a high-level aesthetic presence. Produced by Søren Willadsen, a manufacturer renowned for its craftsmanship, the armchair represents an authentic Mid-Century Modern piece, rare and highly collectible. Reupholstered with original Kvadrat fabric. Ideal for a sophisticated living room or a distinctive study, it is a timeless icon of Nordic design.
