Key Details
The ottomans produced by G-Plan in the 1960s perfectly reflect the British company's approach to home furnishings: objects designed to be functional, yet capable of subtly contributing to the atmosphere of a room. This model combines a generous, well-padded seat with a softly shaped teak frame, creating a particularly successful balance between comfort and visual lightness.
The round silhouette softens the overall look and makes it easy to integrate into different contexts. It can be used as a footrest next to a lounge chair, as occasional seating, or simply as an element capable of completing a living composition without taking up too much space. It is precisely this versatility that makes mid-century ottomans still so relevant today.
The dove-grey velvet upholstery, a warm shade halfway between beige and greige, enhances the central tufting and introduces a tactile component that harmonizes well with the teak. The wooden legs, typical of G-Plan production of the period, lighten the volume and give the piece an immediately recognizable character.
