Key Details
Eight chairs designed to be together, with a slender and sleek rosewood frame that makes room for the upholstered parts. The seat and backrest are separated from the frame and from each other, creating a succession of solids and voids that is particularly evident when the chairs are arranged around a table.
The rosewood forms the legs, uprights, and small connecting elements, while the upholstery softens the overall look. The slightly curved backrest supports the posture without becoming a visually heavy element: a construction suitable for a large set, maintaining a rather airy presence in the space.
The current upholstery needs to be redone, which offers the possibility to customize the chairs by choosing a new fabric from the ones we have available. This intervention allows the vintage rosewood frames to be preserved while adapting the color and finish of the upholstery to the environment in which they will be placed.
A set of 1960s mid-century Scandinavian design, interesting also for its completeness: eight coordinated seats allow for the creation of a significant dining area while maintaining uniformity of shapes, materials, and proportions.
