Key Details
This set of four model 138 dining chairs, designed by Johannes Andersen for Uldum Møbelfabrik, dates back to 1960s Danish production. The design highlights the rosewood structure and a construction conceived to complement a dining table with an elegant yet measured presence.
Rosewood strongly characterizes the set thanks to the deep grain and the natural chromatic variations of the wood. The compact proportions and the well-defined backrest help maintain a light visual line, while the 45 cm seat height is suitable for use around a dining table.
The four-piece configuration allows for a coordinated set, but the chairs can naturally also be combined with different furnishings. Their recognizable character allows them to be incorporated into both Mid-Century settings and contemporary interiors.
A set representative of 1960s Danish design, which clearly expresses Johannes Andersen's attention to woodworking and a concrete balance between form and function.
