In these four chairs, sold as a set, the backrest is the element that immediately defines the design: a curved wooden band, detached from the seat and supported laterally by the frame. This solution lightens the chair's profile and allows the continuity of its forms to remain visible even when viewed from behind.
The upholstered seat introduces a softer element, while the tapered legs continue seamlessly towards the backrest. This is a characteristic approach of Erik Buch's work and 1960s Danish design, where construction, comfort, and visual quality are treated as integral parts of the same project.
Designed for the dining table, these chairs work particularly well in groups: the repetition of the curved backrests creates a recognizable rhythm around the table without weighing down the space.
