Key Details
Six chairs designed to be together around a table, with a visual presence that remains light even when the set is complete. The design by Vestervig Erikson primarily focuses on the structure: tapered legs, continuous back uprights, and an open backrest that allows the eye to pass through and lightens the overall impression.
The upholstered seat introduces a contrast with the wooden structure and makes the set suitable for daily use in the dining area. This is a typical approach of 1960s Danish design, where construction and comfort are resolved without adding superfluous elements.
Viewed in sequence, the six chairs acquire a particularly interesting rhythm: the backrests punctuate the space without creating a visual barrier. This feature allows them to be paired with a table from the same period or with contemporary elements, avoiding the effect of an environment entirely built around vintage.
A representative set of mid-century Scandinavian modernism, designed for those seeking a complete group of original seats and not just a pair of decorative pieces.
