Key Details
This 1960s Danish teak sideboard packs a variety of storage options into a compact frame. The drawers organize everyday items, while the sliding doors allow access to the interior compartments without taking up space in front of the piece.
The design focuses on practicality without sacrificing the visual quality of the teak. The wood grain runs across the front, adding complexity to an otherwise minimalist composition, while the sliding door system keeps the piece looking tidy and light.
At 109 cm wide, it is a particularly versatile solution: it can be used as a sideboard in the dining room, a storage unit in the living room, or as a console table in an entryway. Its compact dimensions make it easy to incorporate into even contemporary spaces.
An authentic example of Danish mid-century design, where functionality, natural materials, and rational planning find a balance that remains highly relevant today.
