Round dining table by Randers Møbelfabrik in rosewood, 1960s

This table produced by Randers Møbelfabrik changes character depending on how it is used. When closed, it appears compact, almost sculptural, with the round shape immediately highlighting the design of the top and the richness of the rosewood. When open, however, it takes on a different presence: wider, more convivial, more suitable for large gatherings.

The rosewood is probably the first thing that catches the eye.
