Our story
STØV means dust in Danish.
For many, it's just something to be swept away. For us, however, it's a sign of the passage of time, the scent of attics in Northern Europe, the veil that guards a story just waiting to be unveiled and retold.
We were born with a fondness for the clean lines of Scandinavian design, a visceral passion for vintage modern furniture, and a deep desire to bring the authentic, warm, and inviting atmosphere of the Nordic countries into your homes.

We personally select original furniture from the 1950s, 60s, and 70s.
Each piece enters the STØV collection only after careful research and rigorous selection, guided by the quality of the materials, the solidity of the construction, and the value of its design.
Most of our furniture is made of teak, oak, or rosewood and is available for both purchase and rental for photoshoots, events, and productions.

STØV has many souls, as many as the people who are part of it.
Because behind every piece of furniture, every carefully prepared shipment, and every experience you have with us, there are artisans, restorers, photographers, and showroom managers who, every day, shape this project, piece by piece, with their experience, their hands, and their heart.

Rebecca
She is the manager of the Florence showroom. She has a special talent: helping you find the perfect piece.
Alessandra and David
They are in charge of the Treviso showroom. They will tell you the story of their furniture as if it were a beautiful tale.
Simone
He is STØV’s restorer. With patience, precision, and extensive experience, he enhances each piece of furniture without altering its identity.
Beatrice
She is the Head of Marketing and Communication. She is always looking for the best way to tell what makes STØV special.
Carla
She's the real boss of the Turin showroom! She welcomes everyone, but her judgment remains unquestionable.
Camillo
He is also a manager, but of the Florence showroom. His welcome is worth more than a thousand words!
