Are the pieces of furniture original vintage items?
Yes, every piece on our website is an original 20th-century item (mainly Mid-Century and Scandinavian design). We personally select each piece of furniture to guarantee its authenticity and historical value.
What condition are the furniture pieces in? Are they restored?
Before delivery, all our furniture undergoes a thorough process of sanitization, structural inspection, and conservative restoration in our workshop. Our goal is to restore the furniture to its full functionality while preserving the valuable patina of time that testifies to its authenticity. Any minor signs of wear related to age are always noted in the product description or photos.
Please note: most of the furniture photographed and displayed on the website has not yet undergone conservative restoration and will only be restored after purchase (the cost of conservative restoration is included in the selling price).
Can I request additional photos or videos of a product?
Certainly. We want you to be 100% sure. Contact us via WhatsApp or at stovfurniture@gmail.com indicating the product you are interested in: we will be happy to send you detailed close-up photographs or a short video of the furniture in natural light. To help us give you a quick response, always include your order number (if you have already purchased) and clearly describe your request.

Can I receive assistance in choosing furniture?
Certainly. If you have doubts about dimensions, condition, compatibility with your space, or shipping, we are available via WhatsApp, email, or phone to help you with your choice.
Do you also ship abroad?
Yes. We regularly arrange shipments throughout Europe and to most non-EU countries through transporters specialized in the transport of furniture and valuable items.
Can I request additional photos or videos before purchasing?
Absolutely yes. Upon request, we can send you additional photographs or detailed videos of the furniture to help you assess its condition, finishes, construction details, and proportions before purchase.
SHIPPING, DELIVERIES, COLLECTIONS
How is furniture shipped and how much does shipping cost?
Furniture is fragile, heavy, and valuable. For this reason, we rely exclusively on logistics partners specialized in the transport of large furniture items. The prices you see on the website are inclusive of VAT; shipping costs are automatically calculated in the cart before payment based on the volume and weight of the item. STØV ships within 3-5 working days of receiving payment. For any problem or doubt related to shipping, you can contact us at any time on WhatsApp or at the email address stovfurniture@gmail.com.
Is delivery to the floor or curbside?
Standard delivery is always curbside, in front of the indicated house number. Upon request, and after a dedicated quote, the extra service of delivery to the floor and porterage is available for Italy. Contact us before purchasing to receive a quote.
Important note: It is your responsibility to verify in advance that the dimensions of the furniture are compatible with the passage points in your home (doors, stairs, elevators, access points).
How does the delivery appointment work?
The customer will be contacted by the courier within 7 working days of purchase to arrange delivery details. We recommend providing an attended address and a constantly reachable phone number. In case of failed delivery, the courier may leave a notice of passage.
Attention: At the time of order, it is necessary to indicate if the address is located in restricted traffic zones (ZTL), difficult-to-reach areas, or smaller islands, as additional costs may be required.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping times vary as we ship worldwide from various fulfillment centers, depending on your location. The average delivery time is 15-25 business days. Any delays due to the courier are not attributable to the company.
What do I do if the item arrives damaged?
In case of a damaged item upon arrival, you are required to report it strictly within 24 hours of delivery via email. We will request detailed photographs to open a claim with the courier.
Can I collect the furniture in person?
Yes, you can select the collection and payment option at our showrooms.
Collection must take place within 7 days of payment. After this period, a storage fee of €1 per day will be applied. If the total amount paid is exceeded due to storage, the order will unfortunately be canceled.
ORDERS AND PAYMENTS
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Bank Transfer.
Please note that shipments are made only and exclusively after the actual payment registration in our systems. In case of payment by bank transfer, the credit may take 4-5 business days; the order will be processed and shipped as soon as we receive the actual credit. The balance must be sent within 7 days of the order; after this period, the order will be automatically canceled and the item put back on sale. Data management is entrusted exclusively to our providers; STØV does not have access to card data.
I'm renovating my house: can I buy furniture now and have it shipped later?
Yes, we are happy to offer this service upon payment of the order balance. We offer a free storage service in our warehouses for the first 30 days from the order date. Starting from the 31st day, a storage fee of €3 per day will be applied until the agreed shipping date.
I entered an incorrect address, what should I do?
If you misspelled or entered an incorrect address, respond immediately to the order confirmation email or write to us at stovfurniture@gmail.com. We can change it within 24 hours. After this period, no refund can be issued.
CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS & WITHDRAWALS
Can I cancel an order?
You can cancel your order without any penalty before it is shipped. If the item has already been sent and is in transit, you will have to wait for it to arrive at its destination and then proceed with the return before receiving a refund.
I am not satisfied, can I return the furniture?
We offer a 100% money-back guarantee if the product is defective or damaged. You have 30 days from receipt to send it back to us and receive a full refund of the original purchase.
Return shipping costs are entirely at your expense and you must include your name and order number on the package. Once we receive the product in our warehouse and verify its integrity, we will refund the full amount.
