Enrich your art glass collection with this splendid pair of "Gulvase" vases (literally "floor vase"), designed by master glassmaker Otto Brauer for the historic Danish manufacturer Holmegaard (or Kastrup Glasværk) in 1962.

These vases are absolute icons of Mid-Century Scandinavian design. They are distinguished by their sculptural "bottle" shape with a narrow neck and flared rim, inspired by chemical storage containers but reinterpreted with pop colors and elegant proportions. The proposed pair represents a perfect example of Danish technical mastery: made of mouth-blown glass, they often feature the cased glass technique, with an opaline white interior that enhances the brilliance of the outer color (typically red, cobalt blue, olive green, yellow or white), or in the rare versions of transparent amber or dark blue glass.

Conditions: The vases are in excellent vintage condition. They have no chips or cracks. The glass surface is shiny and brilliant.
