Designed by Arne Vodder for Glostrup Møbelfabrik in the 1960s, these armchairs represent one of the most interesting moments in Danish design: when comfort, construction, and visual lightness found a natural balance.
The teak frame highlights the quality of craftsmanship through discreet but accurate details, such as tapered armrests, visible joints, and the inclined profile of the backrest. The seat is supported by the characteristic metal spring structure, a technical solution that contributes to both comfort and the identity of the design.
The cushions have been re-upholstered in a bright blue fabric that creates a pleasant contrast with the warmth of the teak. Ideal in a living room, a study, or a reading nook, they represent an authentic example of mid-century Scandinavian design, capable of interacting with contemporary interiors without losing the character of the original vintage furniture.
