Key Details
At 162 cm wide and 114 cm high, this highboard occupies an intermediate position between the classic low sideboard and a vertical storage unit. An interesting proportion, especially when a lot of capacity is needed without extending the piece of furniture along an entire wall.
The front is organized into three sections: two large side doors enclose a series of central drawers of different sizes. The design is rigorous but not flat: the rounded corners of the structure, the small handles and the shaped base introduce details that gradually emerge as you observe the piece of furniture.
Raised on slender legs, the main body remains clearly separated from the floor. It is a recurring solution in mid-century Scandinavian design, particularly effective here because it lightens a piece of furniture born primarily for storage, and therefore with a significant dimension.
In the dining room it can replace a traditional sideboard, while in the living room it offers space for books, objects and everything you prefer to keep out of sight. A piece of 1960s modern antiques with a unique presence, where the architecture of the facade above all defines its character.
