Key Details
A pair of 1960s Danish armchairs, characterized by a teak frame and upholstered fabric seats. The wooden construction remains clearly visible along the sides, where the armrests connect to the front and back uprights, defining the profile of the armchairs.
The seat is wide and slightly inclined, accompanied by a padded backrest that follows the angle of the frame. The teak armrests provide continuous support, while the slender legs and open frame help maintain a relatively light visual presence.
The fabric upholstery, featuring a small geometric pattern and shades of green, introduces a decorative element that dialogues with the warm color of the wood. This combination is characteristic of many mid-century Scandinavian furnishings, in which textiles and natural materials helped to make domestic environments more welcoming.
Designed for the living room, these armchairs can be placed next to each other to create a small conversation area, or used separately in different rooms. The teak structure and the design of the armrests make them interesting even in contemporary interiors, alongside furniture with more essential forms.
