Key Details
In this 1960s armchair, it is above all the teak frame that defines its character. The front uprights rise seamlessly to the armrests and continue in a soft curve toward the backrest: a construction detail that visually lightens the chair and deserves to be observed from the side as well.
The seat and backrest consist of two large black leather cushions, resting within the frame rather than being hidden by continuous upholstery. The contrast between the soft leather, which naturally bears the marks of use, and the dark wood makes the piece's construction very legible.
With a seat height of 39 cm from the floor and a compact depth, it is an armchair designed for relaxation but easy to fit even in rooms that are not particularly large. The open armrests and the frame raised off the ground avoid the bulky effect that often accompanies more heavily padded lounge chairs.
