Key Details
In these chairs, the backrest is the element that immediately defines the design: a curved wooden band, detached from the seat and laterally supported by the frame. A solution that lightens the chair's profile and allows the continuity of its forms to remain visible even when viewed from behind.
The upholstered seat introduces a softer element, while the tapered legs continue seamlessly towards the backrest. This is a characteristic approach of Erik Buch's work and 1960s Danish design, where construction, comfort, and visual quality are addressed as integral parts of the same project.
