Key Details
The “Brazilia” sideboard is one of the most recognizable pieces from G-Plan’s 1960s production, designed by Victor B. Wilkins. The teak structure is characterized by a wide front and a design that highlights the wood through continuous surfaces and functional details.
At over two meters in length, it is designed to provide a significant presence in the living room or dining room, combining storage with a top surface that can be used for lamps, ceramics, and decorative objects. Its shallow depth allows for efficient use of space without creating excessive bulk.
Teak, with its natural grain and variations in tone, defines the character of the piece and emphasizes its build quality. A significant example of British Mid-Century design, which also pairs interestingly with Danish and Scandinavian furniture.
