Key Details
This sideboard was created around a very specific domestic habit: listening to music at home and having records and equipment always close at hand. The presence of the internal record holder speaks to a specific function of the furniture, transforming it into an interesting example of how 1960s design adapted to the evolution of daily life.
Teak defines the volume with a warm, richly grained surface, allowing the wood itself to characterize the front. The structure maintains an essential design, while the internal organization introduces a practical solution for storing vinyl records neatly and easily accessible.
The compartment dedicated to records adds a particularly interesting element compared to a normal credenza. Originally designed for a home music collection, today it can continue to be used for vinyl records or reinterpreted as a space for books, magazines, and other collectible items. The top surface also offers a suitable space for lamps, ceramics, or small accessories.
Its compact dimensions allow it to be easily placed in a living room, a study, or a dedicated listening area. It is a piece of modern antiques that retains the charm of its original use but naturally finds a new function in contemporary interiors.
