Key Details
This sideboard extends over a significant length, almost creating a continuous line within the space.
The arrangement of its elements clearly tells its function: on one side, four drawers, on the other, a more enclosed block, while in the center, the doors create a larger, more flexible volume. This alternation between solids and voids is not only practical but also helps to make the front less rigid, almost segmented into visual blocks.
The doors are equipped with original key locks, a detail that gives the piece of furniture a homely charm from times gone by and accentuates its authentically vintage character.
Teak acts as a unifying element. The surfaces remain continuous, with grain patterns running through the entire structure and helping to perceive the furniture as a single body, despite the internal division. It is precisely this balance between order and variety that makes it easily adaptable to different contexts, from the living room to the dining room.
It is a sideboard with a simple structure and ample storage capacity. And it is probably this structural sobriety that makes it still very relevant today.
