Key Details
White, black, and teak form the front of this 1960s sideboard. The sliding doors allow for configuration changes depending on their position, either revealing part of the interior or closing off the different compartments. Small circular handles complete the design without adding external handles.
Inside, the space is divided into sections of different sizes, some equipped with shelves. This organization allows for easy separation of books, dishes, records, and other items, alternating what you prefer to leave visible with what is hidden behind the doors.
The teak frame encloses the entire front with rounded corners, while the slender and slightly inclined legs lift the cabinet off the floor. The contrast with the white and black surfaces gives the sideboard a more graphic character compared to entirely wooden furniture from the same period.
Measuring 140 cm wide and 35 cm deep, it is a compact storage unit, suitable even for spaces where a larger credenza would be too bulky. A piece of 1960s modern design that combines the practicality of Scandinavian design with a particularly recognizable front composition.
